Renovation: 74th Ave, NE PDX
The goal for this 1911 Portland home remodel was to clean things up, define specific use areas, and to generally ease living for the inhabitants: a family of 4.
For infrastructure, we did a top-to-bottom remodel in the bathrooms and kitchen, added/refinished flooring throughout, and built out the basement where we added a sauna, spa area, and music room. We added a floor-to-ceiling bookcase, which we continued into the closet to create a more ‘library’ feel. For finishes, we updated lighting fixtures and hardware throughout, brought in a lot of wood grain, and brightened up the overall vibe with new white paint.
The asbestos siding on the detached garage was an eyesore, so we went over the top of it with vertical cedar.
